The SnapNrack OmniLug™ (USA) (SKU: 242-10034-USA) provides the same versatile, dual-purpose performance as the standard OmniLug™ while meeting USA domestic content standards for solar installations. This SKU is specifically designed for projects requiring compliance with domestic manufacturing requirements. Note on Usage: While the OmniLug™ is a multi-functional component, it must be used for only one purpose per unit. Each unit must be dedicated strictly as a grounding lug or as an MLPE attachment to ensure a safe and code-compliant installation. Dedicated Functionality - Option 1: Grounding Lug: The stainless steel bonding bracket features a specialized divot on the top surface designed to cradle copper wire. Simply lay the wire in the divot and tighten the bolt to secure the electrical bond. - Option 2: MLPE Fastener: The OmniLug™ also serves as a robust mounting point for microinverters and other Module Level Power Electronics (MLPE). To install, slide the mounting slot of the microinverter around the bolt and fasten it down to the rail.
